Everything you need to know before your appointment
If you’re feeling excited—and maybe a little unsure—before your visit, you’re not alone. Preparation doesn’t need to feel complicated. This guide is here to help you arrive calm, informed, and fully supported, with clear steps that protect your comfort and your results.
Feel calm. Feel confident. You’re in expert hands.
Your most supported results start here.
We believe beautiful outcomes begin with trust—and trust begins with clarity. Whether this is your first appointment or part of your ongoing plan, a few thoughtful steps beforehand can make your experience smoother, more comfortable, and more effective. Use this guide as your baseline, and lean on our team for anything specific to your service.
Your comfort is our priority
Every treatment is different, and you’ll receive guidance tailored to the service you’re having. The tips below are the most universal ways to support comfort, healing, and results. If you want more detail, visit your treatment page or reach out—we’ll walk you through it.
Begin increasing your water intake 24–48 hours before your appointment. Well-hydrated skin tends to respond better and recover more smoothly.
Some prescriptions and supplements can affect sensitivity, bruising, or healing. Bring or share your full list so we can plan with safety in mind.
Alcohol can increase inflammation and the likelihood of bruising. Skipping it the day before is a simple step that supports a smoother experience.
Clean skin helps us properly assess your baseline and reduces the risk of irritation—especially for treatments involving devices or deeper skin work.
Caffeine can increase sensitivity and make you feel more “amped” than you want to be. If you’re prone to nerves, consider reducing or skipping it.
A calm arrival sets the tone. Give yourself breathing room for check-in, questions, and any numbing time (when needed).
Heat and increased circulation can worsen swelling or sensitivity for certain services. We’ll confirm what’s best based on your appointment.
Soft, comfortable clothing helps you relax. If your treatment is face-focused, arriving without makeup can make everything easier.
Pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and aggressive scrubs beforehand unless we’ve instructed otherwise. A calm barrier responds better.
Tell us about upcoming events, travel, important photos, or anything you’re nervous about. The best plans are built around real life.
